Jim Brown

Area Representative

Jim Brown joined FCA in 2021 as an Area Representative with Miami Valley FCA focused on Clark and Champaign Counties. Jim is a former high school and NCAA DIII two sport varsity student-athlete who was never familiar with FCA during all of his years as an athlete.

Following graduation, Jim spent more than twenty-five years working with children, teens, young adults, and families as a counselor, mentor, therapist, and program manager.

When he began attending youth sporting events supporting his nieces and nephews, he observed we have “lost our way” in much of the arena of youth sports. Jim sees FCA as a vital element in restoring the “heart and soul of sports.” Jim and Monica, his wife of 31 years, reside in Springfield, Ohio and are lifelong residents of Ohio.
